A great appetizer handed down from Grandma Platzner!
Ingredients
- 60 medium olives
- 60 almond spears
- 4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups flour
- 12 tablespoons butter (NOT melted)
- 2 tsp. paprika

- Drain, dry and pit olives
- Insert almond spears into olives
- Combine cheese, flour, butter and paprika to make dough
- Flatten dough, make indentation for each olive and roll
- Place in a single layer on a cookie sheet and put in freezer
- Once balls are frozen hard they can be transferred to a plastic bag
When Ready To Serve
- Preheat oven to 450°
- Place in single layer on cookie sheet
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes
Makes 60 cheese balls.
